What are the Chakras?
Chakras are the energy centers or energy vortexes in the body. They are present on the subtle body and thus cannot be seen through the eyes. The human body is known to have 114 chakra in total. However, there are 7 major chakras. These chakras are located along the astral spine. Each chakra is associated with a quality of consciousness, it is associated with an element, colour, Lotus petal and a gland and body parts
The Seven main Chakras:
Muladhara (Root Chakra):
This chakra is responsible for how safe and secure you feel, it helps in you to profoundly connect with the nature, feel grounded and help you to move with the ebb and flow of life.
Swadhisthana (Sacral Chakra):
This chakra is closely associated with creativity, emotions and reproductive activities. Balancing this chakra brings financial abundance in life.
Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra):
This chakra corresponds with our personal power, self-esteem and sense of worth/ purpose. Balancing this chakra will help you to balance spiritual and material world.
Anahata (Heart Chakra):
This chakra serves as the center of unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness for oneself and others.
Vishuddha (Throat Chakra):
This chakra is associated with speaking up and expressing yourself, but also with hearing and being heard.
Ajna (Third Eye Chakra):
This Chakra is associated with intuition, perception, awareness, and spiritual communication.
Sahasrara (Crown Chakra):
This chakra is associated with the pursuit of spiritual peace, and connecting to higher consciousness or state of being
